The Coalition wants proofs of evidence on the following. We give MPs 10 reasons to vote against the Crossrail Bill at the Third Reading

    1. No proof of the lawfulness of the Crossrail Bill – a legal opinion says it is unlawful
    2. No proof of how much Crossrail will cost taxpayers and farepayers
    3. No proof of benefits to London’s communities outside of the City and Canary Wharf
    4. No proof that Crossrail will ease congestion outside of the Central Line
    5. No proof of less environmentally harmful alternatives being considered
    6. No proof of the need to tunnel under sensitive historic residential properties while avoiding prospective development sites
    7. No proof that compensation arrangements for residents are fair and equal
    8. No proof of replicating successful schemes such as CTRL and the Jubilee Line
    9. No proof of a Crossrail scheme that is value for money and is in the public interest despite having spent £400 million of public monies
    10. No proof of why proven CTRL and Jubilee Line rail expert was prevented from giving evidence in public by the Committee despite being a witness-in-fact
